Our Mission
Wallingford Community Dinners was founded on the belief that no one in our community should be hungry or alone on a holiday. We strive to provide a nourishing dinner, a warm welcome, and a sense of community to all who are in need in the Wallingford area.
Our Organization & Work
Wallingford Community Dinners has been serving the community for over 40 years. We are a non-profit volunteer organization with a board of directors. We rely on financial donations and many volunteers to help with the various tasks in providing dinners for each event.
Dinners are served on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter at First Congregational Church, 23 South Main St, in Wallingford, CT from noon to 2 p.m. and delivered to pre-registered homebound residents from 11 a.m. to noon.
